“As a solo practitioner, I work directly with clients, aged 6 to 20, and their parents or guardians. I rely on current, evidence-based best practices in Psychology; however, my overarching process is highly individualized, placing equal importance on developing and maintaining caring and trusting working relationships with each client.
I focus on creating connections with each client through empathy, compassion and curiosity. We work collaboratively to formulate the specific referral questions that guide the appropriate direction to take for assessments, support services or consultations.
I strive to help clients learn about themselves and other people; to be open to considering new perspectives and opportunities; and to actually test out new ideas. I feel so honoured to be a trusted adult in the lives of so many young people and their parents.“
